Monkey See, Monkey Do

On the first of March we were just about to begin an English lesson when there was a loud knocking on our door. A poor hat seller had been pushing his hats to market in a barrow when he hit a stone and all his hats fell out. Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, some monkeys jumped down and took his hats, quick as a click. Of course we helped him find his hats. Some were hidden in very strange places.

He was so grateful he told us the whole story of Monkey See, Monkey Do. We could not decide if he was the silliest or if the monkeys were the silliest.

We then had to remember the story to tell Mrs Rusga as she was at the dentist when the hat seller came. She is often out when we get visitors...
