COVID Update 23.2.21
I hope you all had a restful half term.
I’m sure you will have heard the Government’s announcement yesterday regarding the return to school on 8th March. I have no more information than you do at the moment apart from the DFE stating that it will be a return for ALL primary children rather than a phased return. The unions are fighting for further clarification of the scientific evidence and also for vaccines for school staff. We will obviously be working away behind the scenes to ensure that we have all precautionary measures in place to make the return as safe as can be.
This is only a brief update based on what I know at the moment, I’m sure there will be lots of new information coming out daily and I’ll keep you up to date with anything new I hear of.
