Welcome to Poldhu, we are years 5 and 6.
Our teachers are Mrs Nicholas, Miss Willoughby and Mrs Winter. Mrs Larcombe teaches us Science and DT/art on Thursdays.
Our topic for the Autumn term was Warfare through the ages. We learnt how warfare has changed before focusing on World War II. We also learnt about Remembrance Day and why we remember WWII.
Our topic for the Spring term is Oceans and Seas. We will be learning about where oceans and seas are located and the difference between an ocean and sea. We will also learn about time zones. Looking at the oceans, we will learn about the different zones, before starting our independent projects.
